The gallery, based in the North West of England, offers an eclectic mix of paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures by Modern British artists.

Artists we regularly have in our collection are Sir Terry Frost, Sandra Blow, Frank Avray Wilson, Anthony Benjamin, Roy Turner Durrant, John Emanuel, Geoffrey Key, Neil Canning, and Margaret Lovell.

Henry Cliffe was born in Scarborough and met the painter William Scott whilst in the army during WWII. After the war he enrolled as a student at the Bath Academy of Art where he was later invited to join the staff. Henry Cliffe became an influential teacher alongside William Scott, Peter Lanyon, Terry Frost, Bryan Winter, Howard Hodgkin and Adrian Heath.
